Programs are open to elementary, middle school, and high school-age youth. Because activities may be customized to match appropriateness of participants’ age, developmental stage , and individual needs; the number of sessions may vary.  Youth of all ability levels and behavioral health needs are welcome to participate, as Forest Bathing and nature-centered activities help to improve mood, attention, memory, concentration; and reduce ADHD related symptoms.

Forest Bathing. Participants are guided through a series of mindful meditations to engage the beauty and wisdom of the natural environment.

Creating Sacred Space. Participants establish meaning of sacred, and learn to utilize breathing techniques and other practices that create a sense of balance, harmony, and peace–internally and environmentally. 

Goal Planning & Visioning. Participants establish goals, set intentions, and identify key values, habits, and resources available/needed to realize goals.

Mapping Our Inner Landscape. Participants increase self-awareness feelings, triggers, and tools/strategies to help express and regulate feelings, energy and sensory needs. 

Expanding Our Comfort Zones. Participants identify what makes them comfortable and uncomfortable; and discover ways to challenging themselves and move out of their comfort zone.

Love Languages & Feedback Preferences. Participants identify how they prefer to receive and share love, how they can best receive constructive feedback, and how to communicate their preferences to others.

Teambuilding. Participants engage in activities to better understand and respect one another, build trust, and improve communication.

Self-Esteem & Personal Empowerment. Participants define self-esteem, explore factors that increase and decrease self-confidence, and implement behaviors that will support the self-esteem and wellbeing of themselves and others. 

Guided Biking. Participants can join guided bike tours along the Empire State Bike Trail.
